My wife and I just returned from a weekend stay in a Radisson Hotel in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and I want to take a moment to give people an overview of our experience in this 3-star accommodation option .
I lived in Toronto for almost 2 years and it is nice to get out and see what Toronto has to offer, so we decided to try it for yourself. It was only a short break to see what it was like being tourists in their city. For reference, today's date is Sunday, October 3, 2010.
Greater Toronto Area (or GTA) is a three Radisson Hotels. We got a lot of staying two nights € 75/night EasyClickTravel for this particular, which is located in the north-east of Toronto, the same intersection of Victoria Park Ave and consumers Rd (next to Universal Studios in Toronto, Canada ).
Upon arrival at the hotel around 15:50, we were greeted by what appeared to be a desk clerk rookies before (at least I'm hoping it was!), Who told us just to take a seat and wait while he attempted to contact the head housekeeper to see if our room was ready. After 15 minutes of waiting, I decided to return to the office to see if there was an upgrade to our room and after 5 minutes, we got our cards and told to climb the room 401. Having worked in hotels in me, not a bad time to wait, but be prepared for guests arriving the day with four in the afternoon at the latest. If customers have to wait for your room after this time, I consider them to problems in coordination with the housekeeping department.
The room itself it would have been excellent (with a beautiful fourth floor. View of the area east of Toronto, two comfortable double beds, free internet, etc.) if it were not for the smell of mold in the bathroom, which is a big disappointment for the whole hotel. I do not know if these people realize that smell is the most primitive of the senses and greatly affects views on a particular place. Instead of a feeling of warmth and hospitality, had a strange feeling in the room made us feel rejected. When we mentioned that the reception staff, it was noted that (I think), but we were offered another room. We did not make an issue out of it, but it is a good place for the hotel.
The coffee in the room was a great gesture on behalf of the hotel but could have saved the expense, because it was a pretty horrible taste and had to throw it away over time and we will get some "real" coffee.
On a positive note, in addition to the perfume, the room was clean and very quiet. View from the window was fantastic and the towels were very clean and soft. In addition, there were no signs of pests (bugs, etc.), so we were generally pleased with our stay.
